Our Vision

To be a church totally based upon the authority of God’s Word and that seeks God’s manifested presence, leadership, and guidance in all matters of the church.

Our Purpose

To worship and offer praise to God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

To seek the edification (“building up”) of the body of Christ per Ephesians 4:11-16 through the teaching of the Word.

To express ourselves in love and sacrificial service, first to our LORD and then to our neighbor as ourselves (Matt. 22:36-40; Romans 12:1-5). Our neighbor is the community is Christ, and those who do not know Him as Lord, be they in the church body, in our families, in our neighborhoods, or throughout the world as outreach missions (Matt. 28:19-20).

Our Statement of Faith

WE BELIEVE that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory; that this triune God created all, upholds all, and governs all.
WE BELIEVE in GOD THE FATHER, an infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love; that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men; that He hears and answers prayer; and that He saves from sin and death all who will come to Him through Jesus Christ.

WE BELIEVE in JESUS CHRIST, God’s one and only begotten Son, God incarnate, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth; sinless life; miracles and teachings; His substitutionary atoning death; bodily resurrection; ascension into heaven; perpetual intercession for His people; and personal, visible return to earth.

WE BELIEVE in the HOLY SPIRIT, who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify and empower for ministry all who believe in Jesus Christ; we believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He as the paracletos, one who comes alongside, is an abiding Helper, Teacher, and Guide. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit unchanged since the book of Acts.

WE BELIEVE that the SCRIPTURES of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, fully inspired (“God-breathed”, 2 Tim. 3:16) without error in the original manuscripts, and the infallible rule of faith and practice. These same scriptures remain the trustworthy rule of government and oversight of the church established under the authority of the Lord.

WE BELIEVE in the universal CHURCH, the living spiritual body, of which Christ is the Head and all regenerated persons, are members.

WE BELIEVE that the Lord Jesus Christ committed two ORDINANCES to the Church: 1) Baptism, and 2) the Lord’s Supper. We practice baptism by immersion and believe that baptism should be sought by all who confess Christ as Lord, identifying with His death, burial, and resurrection to new life in Him and communion open to all believers, judging ourselves that we be not judges, not partaking in an unworthy manner (I Cor. 11:26-32).

WE BELIEVE in the personal visible RETURN OF CHRIST to earth and the establishment of His kingdom; in the resurrection of the body, the final judgment and eternal blessing of the righteous and endless suffering of the wicked.
